Wicomb was selected for RMN‘s call for electroacoustic works 2022 with his work BLABLABLABLABLAVET.

Wicomb was recently selected as a prizewinner for Ablaze Record‘s call for electronic works 2022. The cd will be published in the spring of 2023 (USA), distributed to all streaming platforms.

Swedish hornist Soren Hermansson will give a performance of the piece Solecism (2015) in a program of music for horn and soundtrack at Levande Musik Gothenburg, Sweden on 23 April 2022.

The work Role-ing for soundtrack, live electronics and piano by Wicomb will be performed at the next Bowed Electrons electronic music festival.

Wicomb’s Solecism will be performed by the celebrated horn player Soren Hermansson on the 8th of November at Alias Theatre Stockholm and 22nd of November at ATALANTE in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Eco horror Gaia (dir. Bouwer) is screened as part of the Trieste Science + Fiction Festival on 30 October 2021. Wicomb was responsible for the soundtrack.

The 7th Purpur Festival tackling aspects of distance, intimacy and concealment in its curation, including performances of Wicomb’s pieces Solecism (2015) and It’ll be a thing (2020).
