Wicomb’s solo violin piece Spelling and Sounds will be performed at the next International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) event in South Africa.

The South African horror ‘Breathing In‘ premiered in New York at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, 18 October 2023. Wicomb composed the soundtrack (for string quartet & electronics).

Original electronic soundtracks created for the performances (October 2023) of the two plays ‘Monsters’ by Niklas Radstrom (adapted and directed by Tinarie van Wyk Loots) and ‘The Vegetarian‘ by Han Kang (adapted by Willem Anker and directed by Jaco Bouwer) .

The South African premiere of Wicomb’s electronic piece Blablablablablavet will be performed at the University of Cape Town (2 September).

Wicomb is now a composer publishing with Universal Edition.

Wicomb’s drone piece Soft Dare Drone will feature at this event.

The latest project/CD from Ablaze Records for which Wicomb was selected will be released the 26th of May.
